teacherbioheader

Our full-year tuition includes 5 courses per semester. Feedback from parents, students, and teachers indicates that this workload achieves a balance of academic rigor while leaving time for outside activities.
It is possible to add additional courses for an additional charge, but we strongly encourage students to
take no more than five courses.

Utilizing a language arts format, grammar, composition, spelling, handwriting, and literature are integrated into one cohesive course.

Grammar skills are developed via a student workbook divided into sections devoted to jingle, reference, practice, and test.

Composition skills evolve using reference books and written composition assignments. The spelling curriculum incorporates value lessons through Scripture. Handwriting exercises focus on specific Bible verses that become locked into memory for a lifetime.

Skillfully woven throughout the study of mechanics is a diverse and challenging selection of texts exposing young readers to increasingly sophisticated books, all tailored to the imaginative and developmental capacities of the sixth-grade mind.
